That’s why we’ve been distributed from the start: initially between offices in Boston & Santa Barbara, and now with additional offices around the globe. This role can be done from any of our offices across the United States remotely from home. It’s about impact, not location.
A Logistics Manager owns the commercial relationship between Sonos and our external logistics partners- inbound returns/screening/repair centers and e-recyclers. The logistics manager ensures operational efficiency throughout the reverse supply chain by partnering with internal and external stakeholders in the areas of screening and refurb readiness, reverse logistics operations, vendor management & contract negotiations, process improvement, systems enhancements, returns customer experience, and sustainability.
What You’ll Do
Develop supplier strategy to support reverse logistics operations and manage all commercial aspects (RFPs, contracts, SLAs/supplier performance management)
Manage screening/refurb/repair NPI readiness
Ensure b-stock utilization and other reverse logistics targets are met
Lead quarterly business reviews with logistics partners and drive improvements in areas of cost, quality, customer experience and sustainability
Partner with cross functional teams to determine optimal capacity and labor to meet b-stock demand requirements
Analyze yield rates/trends, returns data, and CX data to implement processes which deliver value to the customer and/or company
Partner with Fulfillment and Customer Experience on returns process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
Support geo-expansion and new market initiatives to ensure a seamless returns experience while managing costs
Partner with technical staff on inbound triage, cosmetic refurb and screening process improvements
Lead special projects as needed
What You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong familiarity with excel and ability to analyze data
Experience managing partners/contracts in supply chain/logistics
Experience managing special projects
5+ years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent analytical, excel, program management, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to identify strategic initiatives and drive implementation
A passion for process improvement, cost savings, and improving the customer experience
Proven track record of collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams
Experience managing multiple partners and negotiating complex long term agreements
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or equivalent

The base pay range for this role based off geographic location is:
$103,000 and $129,200The specific pay offered will depend on the candidate’s geographic location, as well as qualifications and experience. We apply geographic pay differentials based on the cost of labor in the market. Employees in high-cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of the range. Your recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
