- Provide support to legal department attorneys
- Organize and maintain case and matter files using a variety of automated procedures
- Actively manage subpoena response, document collection, and production
- Perform document reviews and analysis through e-discovery platforms
- Develop and manage searches and document retrieval
- Assist with internal annual compliance audits and other regulatory functions
- Support the workflow for legal review of contracts and other documents
- Assist with management of client bankruptcy and insolvency matters
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless service
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding legal department functions
- Conduct cite checks and case pulls using Lexis and/or Westlaw database
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of litigation experience in a national law firm practice (or equivalent) responding to subpoenas in civil litigation and/or government investigations
- Strong work ethic with careful attention to detail and dogged follow-up
- Well-honed interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on professionalism and teamwork
- Experience with e-discovery software; knowledge of Microsoft Purview strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, particularly with case files/document management
- Ability to work independently, cross-functionally and collaboratively
- Strong command of MS Office (including Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel) and Adobe
- Excellent writing skills
