Position Title: Legal & Compliance Administrative Assistant
Location: Open- USA
Location Type: Remote
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $17.00- 23.00 USD/hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Role Overview:
The Legal & Compliance Administrative Assistant reports to the Compliance Supervisor with a dotted line to General Counsel and is responsible for administrative management of lawsuits and demands, and for responding to consumer communications and complaints.
Role-Based Accountabilities:
- Work directly with all levels of staff to assist them in navigating and carrying out their responsibilities in accordance with company policy.
- Manage and maintain confidential data.
- Open new case files, gather information and records, generate memoranda, alert personnel regarding new cases
- Process invoices and settlements for cases
- Maintain litigation calendar
- Communicate with outside law firms
- Produce responsive case information for bids, audits, and regulators
- Maintain Excels and databases for tracking cases, demands, and complaints
- Track and respond to regulatory and consumer complaints
- Respond to consumer emails, mailed correspondence, telephone and other consumer communications inquiries.
- Provide other word-processing and secretarial support, as needed
- May perform other duties as requested not specifically addressed in this document
- Ensure understanding of how your role and the role of your subordinates (if applicable) contributes to the key organizational objectives by establishing goals that demonstrate your understanding through performance outcomes that support:

Qualifications:
Work Experience
- Office administration
- Civil procedure and local rules is a plus
- Handling clients and attorney relationships
- Managing deadlines
Education and Certifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience with a High School Degree
- National Association of Legal Secretaries Certification preferred

- Verbal: Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
- Hearing: Hearing ability for verbal communication, conversation, responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
- Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
- Sitting: Ability to sit at workstation for long periods of time.
