The Smartsheet Developer will design, develop, and manage Smartsheet solutions, automate workflows, and integrate with third-party tools and APIs, while collaborating with teams on data management and reporting.
We’re looking for a Smartsheet Developer with hands-on experience in managing complex Smartsheet environments, including Control Center deployment, workflow automation, and dashboard/reporting enhancements. This role involves supporting internal platforms used in legal, biotech, and operational contexts. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building scalable, user-friendly solutions using Smartsheet, managing large data sets and formulas, and integrating with third-party tools via API or middleware.
Responsabilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Smartsheet solutions, including sheets, reports, dashboards, and forms.
- Manage and deploy Control Center, including Global Updates, Blueprint Templates, and project provisioning.
- Build complex databases within Smartsheet, using advanced formulas and data structures.
- Create automations for business processes and ensure smooth collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.
- Design and maintain dashboards with dynamic charting and real-time reporting features.
- Integrate Smartsheet with external tools using KingswaySoft, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
- Support data flows between Smartsheet and structured/semantic databases (SQL, RDF, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure smooth delivery of workflow and data solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on Smartsheet development experience.
- Proven experience with Smartsheet Control Center (project provisioning, blueprint templates, global updates).
- Strong command of Smartsheet formulas, automations, and dashboards.
- Experience with integration tools (e.g., KingswaySoft, Power Automate, Zapier) and API-based data connections.
- Solid programming foundation in Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, or semantic data models.
- Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher).
- Comfortable working in remote, cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in biotech/pharma, legal tech, or project portfolio management.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet Bridge or DataMesh.
- Background in web development (Flutter, React).
- Understanding of data visualization best practices.
