About the team

The Learning Design & Knowledge Team is a strategic and innovative function at Angi, dedicated to unifying knowledge and communication across the company's Sales and Care divisions. They work behind the scenes, partnering with senior leadership to design and implement impactful learning strategies that empower frontline teams and drive business-wide performance. This work is a crucial part to ensure all team members are equipped with consistent knowledge needed to succeed.

What you’ll do

The Learning Designer is responsible for designing effective, engaging, and scalable learning experiences that drive performance and support Angi’s evolving business needs. This role applies instructional design principles and various learning tools to create impactful learning programs tailored to diverse learner personas across Angi’s Sales and Care teams. As a collaborative team player with a learner-first mindset, the Learning Designer partners with cross-functional stakeholders to build content that drives results for the business.  

  • Design and develop blended learning solutions, including eLearning, instructor-led training, job aids, articles, communication, and just-in-time resources.
  • Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to create clear, engaging, and effective learning content.
  • Translate technical or complex topics into digestible and actionable learning experiences.
  • Use various learning tools and platforms to build and deploy training materials.
  • Evaluate learner engagement, knowledge retention, and performance impact.
  • Leverage feedback and performance data to iterate and improve content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure learning initiatives support business priorities.

Who you are

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field.
  • Experience designing effective learning solutions that drive measurable business impact.
  • Expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design best practices, and a range of learning modalities.
  • Proficiency with learning technologies and authoring tools. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams and with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and project management skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges $65,000 - $98,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living. 
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
