About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Transaction Processing/Clearing Java Engineer to join our Prime Services Clearing Technology Group within Capital Markets Technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full stack design and development by following engineering best practices. Successful applicant will help enhance, build, and deliver frameworks and business application micro services. Their primary responsibility will be to understand the current functionality in our Options Workstation (OWS) application and move the application to the cloud based and highly scalable architecture.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
- Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
- Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
- Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
- Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
- Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Mentor less experienced software engineers
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
- Develop and maintain Trade reconciliation between clearing agencies to sour Books & Records systems
- Allocation Manager tool to process customer allocation instructions and publish to MQ to book into Broadridge systems / Options Clearing Corporation (OCC).
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Lead Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Microservices, SQL and NoSQL
- 5+ years of experience in high volume (~5 millions a day) transaction/trade processing experience
- 3+ year of experience in Capital Markets Technology working on building solutions in any of the following areas Equities/Options trade processing and clearing with OCC, CBOE clearing agencies.
- 2+ years of experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift
- 5+ years of experience in Apache Kafka/Solace/MQ
- 5+ years of Experience with SDLC and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4+ Years of experience in Architecture & Design
- 4+ years of DevOps tool set based continuous incremental delivery experience
- 2+ years working in OpenShift Container Platform
- Knowledge & Experience in AI tools such as CoPilot
- 1+ years of experience with IBM OpenShift
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$120,400.00 - $262,600.00Benefits
