The Lead Territory Manager is responsible for direct sales of software products in assigned regions, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve business goals.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
- Direct Sales of Honeywell’s connected industrials software products in the assigned region and/or assigned accounts, to deliver business results, including order bookings, growth of sales revenue, and margin improvements.
- Regular prospecting within existing and prospective customers in the assigned territory/customers, measured via qualified orders pipeline.
- Build and execute account/territory plans incorporating software sales strategies to deliver accurate business forecasts
- Work with PA Account Managers with locations/installations/accounts that may exist in the assigned territory
- Develop, maintain, and share knowledge of the industries we serve and current trends in the specific territory or region.
- Develop and maintain expert sales and technical knowledge for the connected industrials software solutions that are part of the portfolio to be sold
- Continuous feedback of market intelligence to Regional Business Leaders and Product Management
- Exhibit proactive ability and expertise in setting customer discussions via HCI sales and PA partner teams, including maintaining an effective Sales Behaviour Index (SBI)
- Engage in senior-level customer meetings to discuss customers’ business opportunities and explore how HCI software application can address and resolve these issues.
- Prepare and provide business reviews to senior management team regarding progress, activities and key metrics
Requirements:
- A Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of relevant direct sales or sales support experience in industrial software
- 5+ years of engineering and/or operations software application experiences, in one or more of the following vertical markets: Oil & Gas, Chemicals or Refining.
