Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer in the Corporate Technology AI4Tech Scaling Team, you will develop software products critical to business advancement. You will work within an agile team to build, enhance, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology solutions. Your role will involve contributing to technical solutions, applying software engineering best practices, and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Together, we'll deliver solutions that support the firm's business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
Administer and scale GitHub Copilot and Claude Code platforms across the enterprise, including user provisioning, policy enforcement, and usage analytics.
Develop and maintain custom Copilot Skills (.instructions.md, SKILL.md) and Agent configurations to encode domain-specific knowledge and team workflows.
Design and provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services, ensuring reliability and compliance.
Develop internal tooling, automation pipelines, and self-service portals to support AI developer tool adoption.
Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
Build reporting dashboards and metrics pipelines to track AI tool usage, productivity impact, and cost optimization.
Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams onboarding to AI coding assistants.
Engage with communities of practice across Software Engineering to learn about and adopt new technologies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Working knowledge and experience in backend development (Python, Java).
Working knowledge and experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud platforms (AWS — EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager).
Experience administering GitHub Copilot Business/Enterprise — seat management, policy configuration, content exclusions, and audit logging.
Experience authoring Copilot custom instructions, skills, and agent modes (.github/copilot-instructions.md, SKILL.md, .agent.md) to standardize AI behavior across teams.
Experience with Claude Code / Anthropic API integration — prompt engineering, agent workflows, MCP server configuration, and token usage management.
Experience building Claude Code hooks (CLAUDE.md, PreToolUse/PostToolUse hooks, session hooks) for automated code validation, security scanning, and workflow enforcement.
Understanding of LLM-based developer tools including context management, RAG patterns, and responsible AI guardrails.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker) and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and serverless architectures.
Working knowledge of agile methodologies, application resiliency, and security.
Practical cloud native experience and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
