In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic organizational leadership by shaping long-term priorities, optimizing operational processes, and driving cross-functional initiatives to achieve enterprise-level goals.
- Serve as an expert creator of executive-level PowerPoint materials, delivering compelling, visually polished leadership presentations that clearly communicate strategy, insights, and recommendations.
- Leverage advanced data analytics skills to interpret complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and inform data-driven decision-making across operational and strategic initiatives.
- Drive process automation and improvement initiatives utilizing low code/no code tools in addition to partnering with technology resources where appropriate
- Lead complex lifecycle initiatives and support tasks, including those that are cross-functional with broad impact, and act as a key participant in large-scale planning and deliverables; identify opportunities for process improvements within Securities Operations
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term operational tasks or challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations related to a full process within a trade environment while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence or lead team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects and teams, developing and utilizing dashboards and KPIs
- Manage and develop expertise in the following operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation
- Resolve complex escalated issues within the scope of responsibility in Security Operations
- Research complex business risks, develop policies, enhance customer satisfaction, and review time sensitive documents and transaction requests
- Exercise independent judgment in understanding trade settlement and influence workflow controls to minimize the effects of operational breakdowns
- Lead overall effectiveness of the team according to plans; monitor daily securities and cash related production work
- Lead implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures that require coordination among operations teams and perform analysis for initiatives that support business strategies making decisions on matters with financial impact and risk
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking and management consulting, leading strategic initiatives and driving organizational development
- Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Alteryx, and other low code/no code tools
- Exposure to audit processes and quality control frameworks
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with workflow tools and document repositories.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field.
- Series 7 or other FINRA License holder.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.
