About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to join the Retail Services team within Consumer Banking & Lending (CBL). This strategic role will be responsible for POS Financing product, offers, and financial performance.

Within Consumer Banking & Lending, the Retail Services team is responsible for Private Label Credit Cards and Point of Sale Financing. In this role, you will:
  • Develop or influence strategy, product requirements, and evaluations of new product features and product expansions, measurement of impact of new product launches and capabilities
  • Use data and cost benefit analysis to inform product roadmap and features
  • Collaborate with Relationship Management and Sales team to drive merchant adoption of the Point of Sale/Retail Financing product
  • Perform market, industry, and competitive analysis to identify trends, issues and opportunities associated with Point of Sale/Retail Financing
  • Develop and leverage consumer and merchant segmentation analysis, behavior analysis, voice of customer analysis to inform product roadmap and features
  • Identify growth and expense optimization opportunities across all P&L levers, helping to drive and implement those opportunities in collaboration with cross functional teams
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Product Strategy, Product Management, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending products(e.g., credit cards, POS Installment Lending or BNPL, Personal Loans)
  • Knowledge and understanding of product management in the financial services industry, including knowledge, and understanding of profit and loss (P&L) drivers
  • Strong problem solving, attention to detail, decision making and navigating through ambiguity
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and lead without authority within a matrixed environment
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback, direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders, senior level stakeholders and team members while operating in an ambiguous environment
  • Experience with analytical skills, demonstrated by experience consulting on, analyzing, and delivering insights that drive business impact, including incorporating feedback and refining analyses to improve outcomes
  • Experience with project management skills, demonstrated by ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with product technology, engineering, and architecture partners to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Experience defining and managing product roadmaps, epics, and backlogs using agile or hybrid delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFE)
  • Analytical, data-driven decision maker with a passion for delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment and managing risk, compliance, and audit requirements
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved jobs posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.
