At eyeo, we transform the internet into a trusted, sustainable and accessible place where users regain control over their experience, content creators and publishers are rewarded for their content, and advertisers and consumers can connect on mutually agreed terms.

eyeo’s market-leading ad-filtering technology powers products like Adblock Plus and AdBlock as well as technical integrations for popular browsers. Our solutions empower users to control their online experience and privacy while providing monetization for content creators, publishers and advertisers.

Combining our partnerships and our subsidiary products, our technology reaches 350 million monthly active users worldwide.

eyeo is a global employer of over 300 people working remotely in more than 30 countries (predominantly North America and Europe) with our HQ in Berlin and small offices in Cologne, Toronto and NYC (planned soon).

How we work

eyeo has colleagues based all over the world. We love our diversity and take great pride in our company culture. We practice an independent, remote workstyle with work distributed in cross-functional matrix teams that span predominantly EST and CET time zones. If working remotely isn’t for you, we also have a large office in Berlin and soon in NYC that you can choose to work from. Our in-person team and company meetings foster community and collaboration. By enabling remote work and in-person sessions, we have built a culture that provides a unique dynamic of flexibility and belonging.

What you'll do

As the Product Lead for eyeo’s buy-side business, you will be instrumental in building an entirely new business unit. You will help define the strategy and ultimately build the product (either in-house or with strategic partners).

You are both a strategist who continuously drives the product vision as well as someone with a strong track record of executing on the roadmap you create. You have a deep background in programmatic advertising, in particular on the buyside and understand the differences in monetizing across all channels—web, mobile and CTV. You also are an ambassador to product management in the company and passionate about building a product culture.

Your day-to-day activities
  • Drive the discovery, creation and communication of an overarching product vision and strategy for the business unit
  • Ensure the entire product organization collaborates closely with engineering, marketing and other teams to deliver products that align with our vision, meet market needs and consistently uphold high-quality standards
  • Deliver results by defining and prioritizing product features and enhancements based on market research, user feedback and competitive analysis, and translating them into detailed product specifications and user stories
  • Analyze key performance metrics to ensure the product is working as intended and to constantly search for opportunities to optimize, identify growth opportunities and improve the product experience
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including AdTech platforms, privacy regulations and user behavior
  • Coordinate closely with eyeo’s Product Operations team to implement best practices and processes to promote team efficiency and coordination between teams
  • Transparently communicate decisions made regarding our products to everyone in the company
What you bring to the table
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and growing products
  • A deep understanding of what advertisers and publishers need and a proven track record of defining and executing on product strategy to solve those needs
  • Experience working in online advertising with an in-depth knowledge of programmatic advertising in particular and an overall understanding of how the web technically works
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in leading and/or mentoring other product managers
  • Proactive problem solver with a good team attitude
It's awesome if you have
  • Experience with mobile app monetization
  • Strong technical background
  • Buy-side network to tap into in the US and Europe
What we offer
  • Work remotely or from one of our offices —we trust you to find what works best for you
  • Full package of benefits (health insurance, choice of hardware, paid vacation days, professional development and relocation budget, sabbatical leave, etc.)

* Some benefits vary subject to the hiring location
