- Automation & Infrastructure Engineering
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and automation workflows.
- Build reusable automation frameworks for server provisioning, configuration management, patching, compliance, and application deployment.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Automate operational processes to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
- Technical Leadership
- Establish automation engineering standards, governance, and best practices across infrastructure teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and administrators.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure quality, security, and maintainability of automation artifacts.
- Lead automation architecture discussions and technology evaluations.
- Platform & Operations
- Support enterprise environments spanning Linux, Windows, virtualization, cloud, networking, and storage platforms.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement compliant and secure infrastructure automation.
- Create monitoring, reporting, and automated remediation solutions.
- Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives through automation and orchestration technologies.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with application, cloud, security, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into technical automation solutions.
- Communicate architecture decisions, implementation plans, and operational impacts to stakeholders.
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible automation development.
- 5+ years' experience creating and maintaining complex Ansible playbooks, roles, templates, inventories, and collections.
- 5+ years' experience with PowerShell
- 4+ years' experience managing Windows operating environments.
- 4+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management principles.
- Experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) / Red Hat Automation Platform.
- Experience with Linux operating environment
- Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or container platforms.
- Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Understanding of networking, security, identity management, and enterprise infrastructure architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Infrastructure automation experience in large-scale enterprise environments.

- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
