In this role, you will partner with Sales and Production stakeholders, implementation consultants, internal developers, and BI and data teams to translate complex operational requirements into scalable, maintainable D365 solutions. You will lead functional design, configuration, fit-to-standard and fit-gap analysis, testing, implementation readiness, and post-go-live optimization.

The ideal candidate combines deep D365 Sales and Production expertise with strong business-process knowledge and a configure-before-customize mindset. You will help ensure that Duda’s D365 environment supports business objectives, minimizes unnecessary customization, and delivers sustainable long-term value. The position also assists the EDI Manager with testing, maintenance, and support for sales-related EDI integrations.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead Sales and Production Solution Design
  • Analyze current-state and future-state processes across sales order management, customer setup, pricing and discounts, order promising, fulfillment, production control, bills of materials, formulas, routes, resources, capacity planning, scheduling, and subcontracting.
  • Translate complex Sales and Production requirements into functional D365 F&SCM solution designs.
  • Lead fit-to-standard and fit-gap assessments, evaluating whether business needs can be addressed through standard functionality, configuration, workflow, or process change.
  • Evaluate cross-module impacts involving Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Procurement and Sourcing, Master Planning, Product Information Management, Quality Management, Cost Management, and Finance.
  • Develop and maintain functional requirements, process flows, configuration specifications, solution-design documentation, and decision records.
Configure and Optimize D365 F&SCM
  • Lead and perform functional configuration for sales order parameters, pricing and discount structures, delivery and reservation settings, production groups, production-control parameters, bills of materials, formulas, routes, resources, calendars, and scheduling.
  • Demonstrate standard D365 functionality and recommend practical configuration alternatives.
  • Evaluate business-process transformation and standard product capabilities before recommending custom development.
  • Review proposed customizations and challenge unnecessary development when standard functionality, configuration, or process redesign can meet the business need.
  • Assess Microsoft D365 F&SCM releases and recommend standard capabilities that could replace manual processes or existing customizations.
Partner Across Business and Technology Teams
  • Serve as the senior Sales and Production functional counterpart to implementation consultants throughout discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Lead workshops, fit-gap sessions, solution demonstrations, and design reviews.
  • Review implementation-partner designs and configuration recommendations for alignment with business requirements and D365 standards.
  • Provide internal developers with clear functional requirements, business justification, dependencies, expected behavior, and acceptance criteria when development is necessary.
  • Validate that delivered solutions support the approved functional design without unnecessarily expanding customization.
  • Assist the EDI Manager with maintenance, testing, and support for sales-related EDI integrations before and after go-live.
Drive Testing, Deployment, and Readiness
  • Lead functional testing and business validation for implementations, enhancements, releases, and process changes.
  • Develop or oversee test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead user-acceptance-testing readiness, solution demonstrations, training support, cutover readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Confirm that delivered functionality meets approved requirements and solution designs before deployment to production.
Solve Complex Problems and Support Continuous Improvement
  • Investigate complex issues involving sales orders, pricing, availability, reservations, fulfillment, production orders, bills of materials, formulas, routes, resources, scheduling, inventory transactions, costing, quality, integrations, and data.
  • Diagnose root causes involving business-process gaps, configuration deficiencies, standard application behavior, data quality, integration failures, and custom development.
  • Guide teams toward sustainable resolutions through solution design, configuration, process optimization, and adoption of standard D365 functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate Sales and Production processes.
  • Recommend solutions that improve controls, usability, reliability, throughput, planning effectiveness, scalability, upgradeability, and total cost of ownership.
Provide Functional Leadership and Governance
  • Serve as a trusted D365 F&SCM advisor to Sales and Operations leadership, process owners, planners, production managers, customer-service teams, warehouse and inventory stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and technology partners.
  • Present solution alternatives, tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and business impacts to support informed decision-making.
  • Provide functional governance for Sales and Production configuration and solution changes.
  • Mentor Business Analysts and other team members on D365 F&SCM functionality and business-process design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 6-7 years of relevant ERP, Finance systems, business process, or D365 experience, including significant D365 Sales and Production implementation, configuration, or functional solution design experience
  • Minimum of 2 end-to-end implementations of D365F&SCM - Demonstrated experience leading substantial portions of the D365 F&SCM Sales and Production implementation lifecycle, including discovery, fit-to-standard, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
