This Lead Engineer will operate across both solution design and hands-on implementation, partnering with stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, and security partners to drive solutions from concept through execution. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can work across diverse technical areas, including middleware, infrastructure, networking, DevSecOps, and enterprise platform integration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Definition & Technical Translation

  • Help convert ambiguous problem statements into actionable technical direction for developers, engineers, and platform teams
  • Hands-on Engineering & Technical Leadership
  • Team with developers, engineers, architects, and infrastructure partners to design, build, test, validate, and deliver technical solutions
  • Provide engineering-level triage and solution direction for complex issues spanning application, middleware, compute, network, automation, DevSecOps, and operational readiness domains
  • Review designs, identify gaps, challenge assumptions, clarify dependencies, and help remove technical ambiguity that blocks delivery
  • Produce and maintain engineering design artifacts, implementation notes, operational runbooks, decision records, readiness documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials
  • Performance, Resiliency & Problem Investigation
  • Investigate and help resolve a wide array of technical problems, including low-latency application concerns, batch-processing challenges, environment issues, platform integration gaps, and production-readiness risks
  • Analyze complex technical symptoms, identify likely root causes, engage the right technical partners, and drive toward practical remediation options
  • Support engineering decisions in multifaceted situations using strong technical judgment, data-driven analysis, and enterprise risk awareness
  • Promote resilient, secure, observable, and maintainable designs that support production operations and long-term platform health
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience defining, designing, or delivering infrastructure, platform, middleware, application, or enterprise technology solutions
  • 5+ years of experience working across large-scale enterprise environments, including on-premises, private cloud, or hybrid technology platforms
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with middleware platforms, APIs, Linux/Windows infrastructure, container platforms, network services, storage, monitoring, or enterprise automation
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management, vulnerability scanning, secure SDLC, and production-release controls

  • Experience with distributed systems, APIs, integration, and operationally resilient system design
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into practical technical designs and implementation plans
  • Demonstrated hands-on troubleshooting experience across multiple technology domains
  • Experience working in highly regulated, risk-conscious, or large financial services environments
  • Experience in a collaborative Agile working environment; Scrum experience preferred
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar technologies to improve developer productivity, code quality, and solution delivery
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting delivery commitments
  • Strong analytical skills, learning agility, curiosity, and willingness to investigate unfamiliar technical areas
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility across developers, engineers, architects, product owners, operations, vendors, and leadership stakeholders
