You will report directly to our Senior Customer Marketing Manager and work out of one of these sites: Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, or Houston, on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this elevated role, you will be responsible for developing strong stakeholder relationships across a highly matrixed organization, collaborating closely with product management, offering management, sales, and other key partners. Your ability to craft clear, value-driven propositions and narratives will be critical in differentiating our offerings and driving customer engagement and business growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of customer marketing strategies for a broad and complex product portfolio within the smart energy space
  • Translate technical product features and capabilities into compelling, solution-oriented value propositions and narratives that clearly articulate customer benefits 
  • Collaborate closely with offering and product management to understand technical details and market needs, bringing product marketing insights to life 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across sales, product management, and external partners to ensure alignment and maximize impact 
  • Develop and deliver impactful marketing campaigns, presentations, and customer communications that position Honeywell as an innovative leader and solution provider 
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration within a highly matrixed organization to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated marketing efforts 
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies 
  • Support sales teams with strategic account-based marketing initiatives, RFP responses, and customized presentations 
  • Mentor and guide junior marketing team members, sharing expertise and best practices to elevate overall team performance 
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies to continuously refine marketing approaches and maintain competitive advantage 

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • 8+ years of experience in customer marketing, product marketing, or related roles, preferably within technical or industrial markets 
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products and translate them into clear, compelling marketing narratives 
  • Proven experience managing large product portfolios and leading cross-functional marketing initiatives 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a track record of building strong, collaborative relationships across matrixed organizations 
  • Expertise in developing solution-oriented value propositions that differentiate offerings and drive customer engagement 
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver impactful marketing campaigns and sales enablement materials 
  • Experience supporting sales with RFPs, account-based marketing strategies, and customized presentations 
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills 
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring and developing marketing team members
