In this role, you will:
- Lead a variety of servicing activities for complex commercial products
- Serve as primary liaison and work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations and company teams as necessary to progress customer-focused needs
- Review and negotiate complex loan servicing transactions, evaluate risks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks and identify procedural modifications
- Serve as an escalation point in the resolution of client issues
- Conduct quality reviews and monitor key performance metrics as related to efficiencies and effective processes
- Coordinate servicing activities to resolve open customer issues, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance; interact with internal and external customers
- Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
- Research complex business and operational decisions
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; may contribute to strategic initiatives and projects
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- 5+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of experience recommending and documenting business procedures and best practices, identifying process gaps, and offering alternatives
- 5+ years of financial services experience
- Experience supporting business execution, implementation, or strategic initiatives
- Experience updating and certifying procedures
- Controls management experience including the implementation of governance documents
- Ability to collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Can participate in establishing web publication guidelines, conduct procedure audits and certifications, or manage procedure timeline and pipeline
- Skilled in reviewing and editing material authored by others
- Able to design and develop technical project artifacts, manuals, technical presentations, technical training materials, and complex web content
- Experience completing quality control assessments of the work performed by team
- Experience in serving as team lead or escalation point
- Ability to lead or participate in developing documentation or document publishing strategy, policy and guidelines
- Partners with clients to review audience and develop strategy to address technical documentation needs
