About this role:

Wells Fargo’s Financial Crimes Operations (FCO) is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to support the Screening & Monitoring Operations (SMO) organization. The Lead Business Execution Consultant will report directly to the Head of SMO and will lead programs designed to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness, including, but not limited to executing strategics plans, integrating transformational activities, control performance management, and process design and improvements.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver on transformational activities for financial crimes Screening and Monitoring organizations.

  • Serve as a change integration champion, partnering with change organizations to ensure success criteria set by SMO are achieved.

  • Drive a continuous improvement and an effective risks and controls culture.

  • Lead process design, improvements, and optimization efforts within the operations functions.

  • Make decisions on highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area and activities.

  • Establish the position as a subject matter and industry expert in screening and monitoring, and provide support during strategy sessions, audits, and all other business engagements.

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs and services.

  • Review business performance data and other metrics for opportunities to drive efficiencies and effectiveness.

  • Perform assessments through fact finding/data on matters requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.

  • Collaborate and consult with the head of SMO, members of senior leadership, and key business partners on business decisions and operational plans.

  • Articulate complex business concepts, proposals, processes, and data analysis through executive summaries, one-pagers, and other mediums.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of BSA/AML programs, including Client Screening (Negative News, PEP, Sanctions, etc.), CDD, KYC, CIP, transaction monitoring, and enhanced due diligence

  • Transformation execution experience

  • Ability to interact with senior and executive leadership

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong experience drafting business proposals with visuals that tell the story

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced and high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Demonstrated change leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes

  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable and actionable information

  • Meeting facilitation experience in leading discussions that result in the desired outcomes

  • Ability to credibly challenge the status quo

  • Ability the operate effectively in both an ambiguous and structured environment

  • Great partnership skills at all levels and across the enterprise

  • A proven proactive approach to delivering on commitments

  • Knowledge of the audit and issue management process

  • Knowledge of risks and controls
