Job description
We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to manage and scale enterprise-grade Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments across multiple Azure regions. The role focuses on Kubernetes operations, security, automation, GitOps, and cloud infrastructure reliability for mission-critical workloads.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage production AKS clusters across Azure regions
  • Implement private AKS networking, RBAC, Workload Identity, Azure Policy, and Key Vault integrations
  • Manage cluster lifecycle activities including upgrades, scaling, DR, and blue/green deployments
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate deployments via GitOps (ArgoCD)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ACR integration
  • Deploy and support Linkerd service mesh, mTLS, traffic management, and observability
  • Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Optimize cluster performance, security, availability, and cost
  • Troubleshoot Kubernetes, networking, and application issues in production environments
Required Skills
  • 5+ years Kubernetes administration experience in production
  • 2+ years hands-on AKS experience
  • Strong expertise in Terraform, GitOps, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes networking, security, storage, and RBAC
  • Experience with Azure networking, Private Endpoints, VNets, DNS, and managed identities
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault, ACR, and CMK encryption
  • Proficiency with Linux, Docker, Helm, kubectl, Bash/Python/PowerShell
Preferred Qualifications
  • CKA or CKS certification
  • Experience with Linkerd service mesh and AKS Fleet Manager
  • Knowledge of Azure Policy, Kyverno/OPA, multi-cluster Kubernetes, and disaster recovery
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-500
