Junior Technology Project Manager

The Junior Technology Project Manager (Analyst) will support the delivery of technology initiatives within Accordion’s Global Technology organization. This individual will operate under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager and will take ownership of small to medium-sized projects—ranging from internal process improvements to the deployment of small-scale enterprise applications. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively across teams in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging project management professional to gain hands-on experience leading technology initiatives and to build a career in technology project and program management.

This role will ideally be based in our NYC, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, or Dallas offices and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead small-scale Global Technology projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met
  • Support the Senior Project Manager on larger, cross-functional projects and assist with project documentation, reporting, and coordination
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and issue logs; ensure dependencies are tracked and communicated
  • Coordinate project meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-up with stakeholders
  • Prepare status updates and progress reports for internal leadership
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to document project requirements and validate outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to established project management processes and frameworks within Global Technology
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing new tools or methods for efficient project delivery
You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of project coordination or project management experience in a technology environment; experience in a business analyst role also preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency in ticket management systems (Jira or Azure DevOps)
  • High-level understanding of coding platforms and system integrations
  • Experience in test case creation and QA/UAT testing and experience in process mapping
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously with attention to detail; comfortable in a dynamic, high-performance environment
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, and vendors; must have strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Eagerness and self-motivation to learn PM best practices and gain an understanding in technology systems, integration, and flow, with a strong interest in AI tools and technology development
  • PMP or CAPM certification (or progress toward certification) is a plus

  • A team player, able to work with team members across all levels
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring others and doing meaningful work
  • A leader of others; you lead by example

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $65,000 to $85,000 + benefits + bonus (overtime eligible). Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
