Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position will provide top tier engineering and troubleshooting for the DISH corporate Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewall, and Cloud Network Infrastructure platforms and services. Must be a detail oriented and highly organized individual. Best practice network engineering and strategic vision in the design, planning and implementation of firewall/proxy hardware products and cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, troubleshoot, and administer Zscaler Internet/Private Access, AWS Cloud Network Infrastructure, F5 BIG-IP/Distributed Cloud, and Palo Alto firewalls; provide outage leadership and end-user engagement.
- Set up, tune, and respond to platform monitoring and alerting systems; maintain thorough technical documentation.
- Design solutions aligned with business requirements across AWS (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway), Zscaler, Palo Alto, and F5 platforms.
- Lead hands-on implementation and maintenance of enterprise network solutions; ensure daily operational reliability and service availability.
- Provide advanced technical leadership for complex projects, mentor junior team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Build and validate solutions in a lab environment using defined test and validation plans to ensure production readiness.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical degree; six to eight years as a data network specialist in a medium to large enterprise network; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access, F5 BIG-IP and F5 XC, Palo Alto firewalls w/ ATP, AWS Networking
- Advanced knowledge of network monitoring and performance tools such as Dynatrace, Logz.io and XSIAM
- Strategic thinker, strong interest and aptitude in collaborative big picture, enterprise-wide network infrastructure roadmaps
- A commitment to improving processes and to customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Goal oriented team player who will meet team commitments and work within a cross-functional, multinational team
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $175,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
