Summary:
The IT Corporate Technology Business Analyst focus primarily on providing technical support & troubleshooting issues and provide end-user support of Zuora Billing & Revenue software, which is a SaaS application, issues by understanding the QTC billing and Revenue Recognition process followed at DFIN. The incumbent in this role is responsible for the configuration and maintenance based on business requirements in Zuora. Successful candidates will work with project managers, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Application Managers, and information management and business representatives to keep abreast of operational issues and initiatives with a potential SaaS & ERP impact.
Responsibilities:
• Apply creativity and technical expertise, along with a solid understanding of business fundamentals, to create analytics solutions to business challenges.• Required to work IT team members and Business Users to provide rapid and accurate analysis of issues in the assigned systems• Should function and provide support through team chat or virtual meetings with application users.• To Document responses and resolutions provided on issues identified, application bugs, reproduce, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate to Zuora Support team.• Learn fast to understand DFIN Billing and Revenue process. Finish Zuora learning courses for updates and new features, take ownership and drive reported issues or new developments, process from start to finish.• To enrich learning and new developments by actively participating in online Zuora Community and other resources available from Zuora.• Handle urgent escalation issues, ensuring we understand issues accurately and prioritize based on severity example like period close, project timelines etc., and analyze possible solutions using DFIN system setups.• To provide support in changing templates, rules and conditions by properly following and documenting approved changes to Test and Production systems.• Executes Zuora system unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing (builds test cases, performs tests, suggests changes to configuration or processes based on results, and resolves errors)• Identify benefits, risks, and alternatives in proposed system design solutions and their impact on the integration with other systems like SAP.• Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own work independently with little to no supervision. And performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience, is preferred.• 2 - 4 years of software SAAS / ERP related experience desired, preferred Zuora Billing• Order-To-Cash (O2C) cycle experience in any ERPs can also be considered. • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, HTML skills required along with Working Knowledge of MS Office tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Working business knowledge of US GAAP and revenue accounting a plus.• Knowledge of accounting concepts and Revenue Recognition models is an addition.• Ability to work efficiently in a time-critical environment and fast-paced environment.• Problem-solving capabilities as well as excellent customer service skills.• Ability to take ownership and follow through on client issues until resolution.• Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with peers and senior management as required.• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and technical judgment.• Experience working virtually and independently with minimum supervision and managing tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
