The Role
As an IT Business Partner (ITBP) you will act as the primary bridge between IT and key business functions such as Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital innovation, streamline IT enablement, and ensure that technology investments are directly aligned with business strategy and growth. Your role is critical in shaping the technology roadmap to support scale, agility, and customer-centricity.
What You’ll Do
Strategic IT Alignment
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, aligning IT capabilities with business and product roadmaps.
- Influence technology decisions to support rapid scaling, transformation, and innovation.
- Identify opportunities where IT can deliver competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with other departments to deploy / enhance SaaS integrations.
- Engage with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to enable / enhance technology tools (e.g., CRM, analytics platforms, customer portals).
- Facilitate collaboration between IT operations, InfoSec, and business units on shared technology objectives.
Technology Roadmap & Delivery
- Drive initiatives such as system upgrades, workflow automation, and migrations in support of business objectives.
- Help prioritize IT projects based on ROI, customer impact, and strategic alignment.
- Ensure the seamless delivery of IT services to support internal users and external customers.
Innovation & Digital Enablement
- Promote emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, low-code platforms, API ecosystems) to enhance product and business capabilities.
- Facilitate POCs, vendor evaluations, and technology pilots with a business impact lens.
Governance & Risk
- Ensure IT compliance with internal policies, security standards, and industry regulations (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).
- Support data privacy initiatives and digital trust as part of technology delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or product/technology roles.
- Strong experience within fast-paced, tech-forward environments (e.g., SaaS, software, platforms, startups).
- Experience collaborating with agile teams and product development processes.
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into technology execution.
- Working knowledge of modern tech stacks and IT operations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
