Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
- Manage event requests and serve as the first point of contact for all internal event inquiries.
- Support the planning and execution of company-wide virtual meetings, town halls, and offsite gatherings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify event needs, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate logistics including scheduling, vendor management, venue booking, catering, AV, and technical setup.
- Assist with developing event communications and promotional materials in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and provide post-event reporting and analysis.
- Maintain an organized system of event documentation, timelines, and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement of event processes by gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for innovation.
- 3+ years of event management experience, preferably within a virtual and international organization.
- Technical skills: Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, Cvent, and Zoom Webinar.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel 20–30% as required by event needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Base Pay Grade - E
Equity Grade - 2
Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $80,000 - $100,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $71,000 - $91,000
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range.
