Role Summary

The Intern: Finance will participate in a structured, educational internship experience. This internship is designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to financial operations in a professional setting, aligned with their academic learning goals.

Learning Goals

  • Gain practical experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Learn how to use financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, JIRA or ERP systems).
  • Understand internal financial controls and compliance processes.
  • Participate in team meetings and observe real-world financial decision-making.
  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills through guided projects.
     

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Finance team, the Intern may:

  • Assist with data entry and reconciliation of financial records.
  • Assist with maintenance and organization of Finance email inbox.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Conduct research on financial trends and best practices.
  • Help with organizing and maintaining financial documentation.
  • Participate in special projects aligned with their academic background.

Experience Required

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial concepts.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team environment.
