Summary Description:

The Inside Sales Representative / Mexico Business Development Coordinator serves as the primary internal support resource for the Mexico Business Development team. This position is responsible for coordinating customer and sales support activities, ensuring timely execution of commercial requests, and acting as the central liaison between the Mexico sales team and internal functional groups across TOPPAN.

The successful candidate will provide critical "blocking and tackling" support by managing quote requests, coordinating sample fulfillment, gathering customer onboarding information, tracking commercial opportunities, and facilitating cross-functional communication. This role is essential to delivering a professional, responsive, and customer-focused experience while helping accelerate growth in the Mexico market.

What you’ll be doing:

Sales & Customer Support

  • Support the Mexico Business Development team with day-to-day commercial activities and customer requests.
  • Prepare, enter, and track price quotations within company systems.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities related to pricing requests and customer inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, opportunity updates, and commercial documentation.
  • Assist with sales pipeline management and reporting activities.

Process Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor open requests and drive timely completion of action items.
  • Help establish and maintain processes that improve responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication, workflow efficiency, and commercial support activities.
  • Support special projects and business initiatives related to growth in Mexico.

Cross-Functional Liaison

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact supporting the Mexico Business Development team.
  • Coordinate activities across TOPPAN businesses and functional groups to ensure customer requests and commercial opportunities are addressed efficiently.
  • Facilitate communication between sales, customer service, operations, supply chain, quality, finance, technical service, and product development teams.
  • Coordinate the preparation and shipment of product samples to customers and prospects.
  • Escalate issues and drive resolution of obstacles impacting customer responsiveness or business growth.

Customer Onboarding & Administration

  • Gather and manage customer setup information required for new account creation.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding activities with customer service, finance, quality, and other internal departments.
  • Ensure all required documentation is collected, completed, and processed accurately.
  • Maintain organized records of customer information and supporting documentation.

We’d love to hear from you if:

Required

  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, business development support, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with CRM and/or ERP systems.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting international or cross-border business activities.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Experience in packaging, manufacturing, industrial products, or related business-to-business markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple business units and functional teams.
