About this role:

- Engineering Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers focused on platform engineering, automation, cloud integration, and service reliability
- Establish engineering standards, automation frameworks, and operational practices that improve scalability and reduce manual effort
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
- Drive modernization initiatives focused on Infrastructure as Code, API-driven automation, self-service consumption, and platform engineering principles
- Cyber Resilience & Risk Management
- Partner with Cybersecurity teams to enhance ransomware protection, cyber recovery, immutable storage strategies, and recovery testing programs.
- Ensure engineering solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, governance, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Lead resiliency assessments and recovery readiness initiatives to improve recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO)
- Identify and mitigate operational, security, and technology risks across the data protection ecosystem
- Vendor & Technology Management
- Serve as the executive engineering partner for strategic vendors including Cohesity and cloud providers
- Influence product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and platform enhancements to meet enterprise requirements
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends in cyber resilience, cloud backup, AI-driven operations, and data security
- Drive technology lifecycle management and modernization efforts across the backup and recovery portfolio
