What We Need:

As Synapse Health continues to expand its network of payer and health system partnerships, we are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Implementation Manager to lead complex, multi-state partner launches and strategic initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring new partnerships are executed seamlessly—from initial planning through go-live and post-implementation evaluation.

The Implementation Manager will serve as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners, translating business requirements into actionable implementation plans and ensuring delivery against timelines, scope, and quality expectations. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Supplier Solutions & Implementation, this individual will work cross-functionally across Operations, Technology, Network, Sales, Legal, and Compliance to drive successful outcomes and scalable processes.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strong project leader who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and enjoys building repeatable implementation frameworks that support long-term growth.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation planning and execution for new payer and health system partnerships, including multi-state launches and complex operational rollouts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Network, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams to define scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, and communication strategies to ensure alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for implementation execution, providing ongoing status updates, risk identification, and issue resolution.
  • Proactively monitor implementation progress against established timelines and deliverables, clearly setting expectations and driving accountability.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate risks or blockers; lead conversations to define scope changes, evaluate impacts, and recommend solutions.
  • Analyze data and evaluate analyses conducted by others to assess performance, readiness, and post-launch outcomes.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and business cases that synthesize findings and support data-driven decision-making with impacted leaders.
  • Identify gaps in processes, workflows, or tools; ensure solutions are developed, documented, and communicated effectively.
  • Partner with IT and Operations teams to support system enhancements, process improvements, and operational readiness where required.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement and scalability.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of implementation best practices, templates, and playbooks.

Note: These responsibilities reflect the general nature and scope of the role but are not exhaustive. Responsibilities may evolve to meet changing business needs.

What You Have:

At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture rooted in kindness, collaboration, and creativity, qualities we consider essential for every team member. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in implementation management, project management, or program management (required).
  • Experience working in healthcare and/or other highly regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of the DME industry, health plan operations, or provider networks preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the ability to quickly learn job-specific systems and platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Analytical Thinker: Able to break down complex information, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions that inform action.
  • Detail-Oriented: Consistently attentive to accuracy, follow-through, and execution quality.
  • Highly Organized: Skilled at prioritizing work, managing competing demands, and adjusting plans as circumstances change.
  • Proactive and Adaptable: Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments; self-directed with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Effective Communicator: Tailors communication to diverse stakeholder audiences, distilling complex information into clear, actionable messages across written and verbal channels.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $75,200 $94,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting.
