CAMS (Community Association Management Services) is on the search for a full-time Human Resources Assistant. This is a position where you will work from home, however, you must reside in North or South Carolina to be considered for this role.
The role of the Human Resources Assistant is to provide administrative and operational support in an HR capacity, primarily focusing on recruitment, retention and onboarding efforts. The HR Specialist will also maintain personnel files and team member lists, track and announce team member life events, and assist with general day to day HR operations.
Accountable for the following:
- Post and maintain job recruitment ads on ADP and various job sites
- Receive and review resumes
- Guide candidates through the recruitment process
- Conduct phone screens, pre-hire assessments and background and reference checks
- Track team member recruitment referrals
- Schedule interviews
- Guide hiring managers through the interview process insuring compliance
- Communicate with hiring managers on candidate status
- Communicate rejection messages to candidates not selected
- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Manager on job offers
- Assist with onboarding process
- Conduct a brief introductory orientation session for new hires
- Assist IT with maintaining e-mail distribution lists
- Assist with general day to day HR operations
- Maintain personnel files
- Track employee milestone anniversaries (5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years)
- Announce birthdays and work anniversaries internally
- Collaborate with the HR Team to develop and implement new processes and process improvements
- Be familiar with state and federal laws regarding employment practices
- Complete special projects as assigned

CAMS Benefits and Hours:
Hours of work for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
The CAMS compensation package includes:
- Base pay range of $45,000-$48,000 annually for this role
