Pay Scale: $19-$20/hr.

Summary:

 A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. The responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy. This includes developing social media presence for Daymark.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc. Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Develop relationships with colleges and other applicant sources
  • Work directly with IS to enhance Daymark’s external website to better attack applicants and promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Assist in training hiring managers/supervisors in interviewing styles and techniques. This includes availability to review with managers/supervisors any candidate that is questionable and ensuring all job requirements are met.
  • Works with HR Director to develop and maintain current job descriptions
  • Assists in maintaining current policies and procedures as relates to hiring practices and staffing requirements in order to maintain CARF compliance
  • Assist HR Director as needed with various research projects and/or special projects.

Qualification Requirements:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Must have computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS system.  Must be proficient in Word and Excel.  Strong   analytical and problem solving skills.  Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.  Strong interpersonal skills essential.  Familiarity with recruiting techniques, exposure to various social media venues and related state and federal regulations regarding recruitment and hiring is required. Education and/or Experience:  Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Health Care Management or related field. Minimum of two years’ experience in the HR arena  with concentration in recruitment. Will consider all related experience in lieu of education
