The Impact of an HR Operations Analyst I at Coupa:

The HR Operations Analyst is a foundational member of the HR Operations team, focused on supporting the overall quality and integrity of HR data. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative and transactional support, ensuring accurate data in our HR systems, and handling employee inquiries in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient HR service delivery and helping to streamline foundational processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain accurate employee data and perform regular updates to employee records from hire to retire.
  • Support the new hire onboarding process, including following up with employee,  completing employment verifications, and other administrative tasks.
  • Respond to and resolve routine employee inquiries and requests in a timely manner, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Create and maintain personnel files, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and kept confidential.
  • Maybe required to generate basic HR reports as needed to support general HR queries.
  • Assist with data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across all HR systems.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to help with various HR initiatives and projects.
  • Utilize a case management tool to track and prioritize requests.
  • Provide administrative support for various HR functions (for example but not limited to, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition)

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or similar role or completion of post-secondary schooling in this area.
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or other data management tools is a plus.
  • A customer service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including basic functions of Excel.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is an asset.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • A desire to learn and grow in the field of HR Operations.
