We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner to join our lean and impactful People team. Someone who can be a trusted advisor to leaders across Blend, guiding workforce planning, compensation, and performance management efforts, while also rolling up their sleeves to support key tactical functions like onboarding and data management. The ideal candidate would be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably coming from a SaaS company.
** Hiring Location: Raleigh, North Carolina is preferred but we are open to hiring remote in the US as well **How you’ll contribute:Strategic HR Business Partnership- Partner closely with leaders to support team effectiveness, org design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Advise on performance management practices, promotions, employee development, and succession planning.
- Serve as a resource on sensitive employee relations matters, helping to assess risk and ensure a fair and consistent approach.
- Use people data and insights to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities across departments.
People Operations & Tactical Support
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, partnering with IT, payroll, and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and ensure a high standard of data integrity.
- Assist with audits, compliance efforts, and policy documentation.
- Act as a connector between strategy and execution—ensuring initiatives are implemented thoughtfully and efficiently.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years as a HRBP.
- Strong understanding of core HR disciplines: employee relations, compensation, performance management, org planning, etc.
- Analytical and systems-minded with the ability to use data to tell compelling people stories and guide decisions.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Excellent relationship builder with a consultative, business-first mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute processes reliably and efficiently.
- Experience in fintech or high-growth tech environments preferred.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred.
To comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.
For full time hires, the hiring base pay range for this position is between $101,000 and $118,000. Beyond base pay, Blend benefits and perks are described below.
Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
