Are you a people-first HR leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, culture, and coaching? Ellevation Education is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our People team. You will help us solve complex people issues and ensure our overall and functional people strategies support the business strategy. The right candidate will be skilled in managing employee relations, being a trusted thought partner, driving people programs, and developing an in-depth understanding of our business strategy and goals. Experience in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that values its people, mission, and culture is critical.

Within 1 month you will:

  • Immerse yourself in Ellevation’s mission, culture, and values.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Ellevation’s values, business model, and how the Sr. Business Partner works with internal stakeholders to drive results.
  • Build productive cross-functional relationships with the Ellevation and Curriculum Associates People and Culture team.
  • Begin supporting employee relations cases with empathy and clarity.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Advise leaders on org design, performance management, and cultural dynamics.
  • Use data and insight to shape talent strategies that drive high performance.
  • Independently guide managers through sesntivie employee issues with discretion and fairness.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Propose and launch new or enhanced programs that reinforce our business strategy and employee experience.
  • Lead high-impact coaching and change management efforts across multiple teams.
  • Translate complex talent challenges into practical solutions that scale.

Within 12 months, you will:

  • Be seen as a trusted, go-to thought partner for leaders across the business
  • Drive company-wide impact through change leadership, people insights, and talent strategy execution.

About You

  • 10+ years in progressive HR roles (tech experience a plus)
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applications
  • Strategic, trusted, and credible partner with experience providing expert employee relations and consultative services to executives, management, and employees
  • Provider of consistent excellent service, going above and beyond to provide a positive employee experience
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to effectively work with diverse personalities on employee relations issues that are often sensitive in nature, maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to use data to provide executive-level recommendations
  • “Roll up the sleeves” mentality with strong planning and execution skills
  • Excellent communication skills and confident presence
  • Highly responsive, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to be flexible and handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Experience researching and interpreting employment laws (state and federal) accurately and consistently
