We are seeking a personable, highly driven, and organized professional to join our Home Office Coverage team, supporting and driving engagement with our largest enterprise clients, including RIA Aggregators, Independent Broker Dealers, and Bank & Trusts. This individual will play a key role in both business development and client relationship management, ensuring a seamless client experience and driving adoption of CAIS solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, alternative investments, and platform technology with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Title (Senior Associate or Vice President) will be based on experience.
Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to national wealth management firms, supporting client engagement and business development efforts.
  • Drive sales and asset retention through direct selling, relationship management, and strategic client outreach.
  • Support and/or lead product and platform launches, collaborating with internal teams, GPs, and CAIS regional sales to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, including research teams, advisors, and enterprise-level decision-makers.
  • Facilitate client onboarding, including introductory calls, platform demonstrations, and ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop client-focused materials and targeted campaigns that enhance engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to maintain CAIS’s competitive position.
  • Leverage Salesforce to record and track client interactions and sales activities.
  • Demonstrate the features and benefits of the CAIS platform to advisors, highlighting new tools and functionalities.

Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of experience in relationship management, investor relations, business development, or sales covering national accounts in the alternatives space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to continuous professional development and team improvement.
  • Excellent client service aptitude and attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Salesforce.
  • Series 7 and 63 required.

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
