Description

The Head of Product Strategy owns what gets built at Overtime.ai. (Powered by Acclaim) Long-term vision, roadmap priorities, and platform direction are determined in partnership with key stakeholders — but the responsibility for translating those agreed priorities into clear specifications, sequenced delivery, and execution discipline sits squarely with this role. You will partner closely with engineering on what's feasible, with operations on what's deployable, and with clients on what's needed.

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, operations, compliance, and client delivery. It is both strategic (contributing to platform direction as part of the leadership conversation) and execution-focused (owning that what we develop actually serves clients and scales operationally). The right person is comfortable in both modes and has the judgment to know when each is called for.

The ideal candidate understands how to balance long-term platform strategy with near-term operational execution in a fast-moving, AI-driven environment.

Requirements
  • 8 years in product strategy, product management or product leadership with meaningful experience in fintech, receivables, collections, healthcare RCM, contact center technology, or other industries.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting enterprise software implementations and translating operational requirements into product enhancements
  • Understanding of AI enabled platforms, automation workflows, conversational AI, or voice technology preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering, operations, compliance, and executive leadership teamsFamiliarity with environments and operational risk management strongly preferred
Responsibilities
  • The Roadmap: Own the multi-quarter product roadmap. Coordinate stakeholder input, sequence what ships, and drive the discipline that keeps it real. Roadmap priorities are set in partnership with key stakeholders; getting from priorities to dates, dependencies, and delivery sits with this role.
  • Client-to-Product Translation: Translate client needs, implementation feedback, operational workflows, and compliance requirements into clear, sequenced product specifications that engineering can build.
  • Product Prioritization: Partner with the CTO and engineering leadership to prioritize platform investments across AI capabilities, automation, voice technology, integrations, compliance controls, and reporting. Make explicit, defensible trade-off decisions in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • AI Capability Definition: Define product requirements for emerging AI capabilities, compliance controls, reporting, and client experience improvements, in partnership with engineering and applied AI teams.
  •  Operational Bridge: Serve as the working bridge between business stakeholders and engineering. Translate priorities in both directions and resolve the day-to-day friction that slows delivery.
  • Implementation Alignment: Stay close to implementation and onboarding so product decisions reflect what actually works in deployment, and so deployment teams aren't surprised by what gets delivered.
  •  Feedback Loops: Establish and run structured product feedback loops across operations, sales, compliance, client success, and engineering. Turn what's heard into what's prioritized.
  • Gap & Automation Surfacing: Surface gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities across voice AI, workflow orchestration, messaging, reporting, and operational tooling. Turn them into prioritized work items.
  • Client Engagement: Engage directly in client discussions, strategic partnerships, and product demonstrations to inform platform direction and ensure the client voice reaches engineering unfiltered.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive cross-functional coordination on timelines, dependencies, testing, and release readiness. Own that nothing falls between teams.
  • Market Input: Inform leadership decisions on market opportunities, competitive positioning, and product expansion. Bring the product perspective into commercial strategy.
  • Process & Governance: Establish product management and governance processes that scale with company growth. Process where it adds value, speed where it doesn't.
