We are seeking a Head of Partnerships to design, launch, and manage a high-impact partnership program that drives growth and strengthens our global position as a leader in marketplace commerce.
The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing Podean’s partnership strategy across marketplaces, technology vendors, and emerging platforms. This role will focus on generating a consistent flow of qualified leads, expanding strategic alliances, and ensuring Podean remains at the forefront of marketplace and AI-driven innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the marketplace and retail media ecosystem, extensive experience managing partnerships, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
What You'll Do
- Partnership Strategy & Development
- Design and implement a scalable partnership program aligned with Podean USA’s growth objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new partnership opportunities that enhance Podean’s service offering and lead generation.
- Develop partnership frameworks, incentive models, and governance processes to ensure sustainable growth.
- Partner Management & Expansion
- Proactively manage and nurture relationships with key marketplace partners, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and TikTok Shop.
- Cultivate and manage collaborations with agencies, technology vendors, and tools such as Kapoq, m19, Quartile, TrueOps, and Carbon.
- Explore and develop partnerships with non-marketplace platforms including OpenAI, Perplexity, Shopify, and Profound AI.
- Maintain a structured communication plan and organizational mapping of all key partner relationships.
- Collaboration & Enablement
- Work with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to support and enhance partner relationships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute a global partnership communication and activation plan.
- Partner with the new business and sales teams to convert partnership-generated leads into clients.
- Implement Partnerstack and other relevant systems to optimize partner engagement and performance tracking.
- Representation & Advocacy
- Represent Podean at relevant conferences, events, and forums to strengthen partnerships and brand presence.
- Act as an advocate for Podean’s capabilities and values within the broader partnership ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances - ideally within e-commerce, digital marketing, or retail media.
- Proven success in building and scaling partnership programs that deliver tangible business growth.
- Established network across marketplaces, technology vendors, and/or AI-driven platforms.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in tracking and mapping partner ecosystems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Partnerstack or similar partner management tools is a strong advantage.
