We are looking for a visionary Head of Engineering to lead and scale our talented engineering team. In this role, you will drive the development of innovative, user-focused product features while ensuring our application and network are highly available, scalable, and secure. Your leadership will shape the future of Collective[i]’s technology, empowering businesses to thrive with cutting-edge AI-powered solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire Frontend, Backend, Data Engineering, and Infrastructure teams, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing culture
  • Recruit, develop, and manage top engineering talent to drive excellence
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-quality systems to support growth
  • Partner with Product teams to shape and execute the technology roadmap
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies to ensure innovation and competitive advantage
  • Oversee engineering budgets, ensuring resources are optimized effectively

Qualifications

  • Provide technical guidance to team leads on architecture and design decisions
  • Manage, mentor, and communicate business and performance objectives effectively to a large team
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate seamlessly with business, product, and development teams
  • Thrive under time-sensitive delivery deadlines while maintaining high-quality outcomes
  • Foster a team-player mentality with a strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering impactful work

Technical Requirements

  • Progressive engineering leadership experience in enterprise or analytical software development
  • Expertise in AI/ML systems and their practical applications
  • Proven experience with agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Delivery (CD)
  • Mastery of modern web programming standards and microservices architecture; strong knowledge of React, Angular, NodeJS, and Python
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) and scalable, distributed system design
Compensation range for this role if located in the United States.
$250,000$300,000 USD
