About the Role

As Socure’s Head of Communications, you’ll own our public voice—developing and executing media strategies that elevate our leadership in fraud prevention and digital identity. You'll partner with internal stakeholders, lead external agency efforts, and drive impactful PR, analyst, and brand reputation programs.

What You’ll Do
  • Storytelling & Messaging:
    Develop engaging narratives that connect company milestones, product updates, and expert perspectives to broader market conversations.

  • Executive & SME Enablement:
    Coach and prep executives for media engagements and grow internal voices into trusted subject matter experts.

  • Brand Reputation Management:
    Lead campaigns to enhance brand visibility, identify speaking opportunities, and manage crisis communications with confidence.

  • Strategic PR Leadership:
    Define and lead a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with Socure’s growth and brand goals.

  • Newsjacking & Timely Content:
    Monitor breaking news and proactively craft data-driven, high-impact responses that position Socure as a thought leader.

  • Media Relations:
    Cultivate relationships with top-tier media, pitch compelling stories, coordinate interviews, and track coverage performance.

  • Analyst Relations:
    Manage relationships with industry analysts (e.g., Gartner), maintain briefing cadences, and support analyst report participation.

What You Bring
  • Experience:
    10+ years in PR, communications, or media relations in technology, B2B, or fintech. Some experience in startup or high-growth environments

  • Track Record:
    Proven success running strategic PR campaigns and managing high-impact media relationships with a clear understanding of B2B marketing and sales strategies

  • Industry Knowledge:
    Strong grasp of fraud, digital identity, and fintech landscapes, with a passion for turning complex topics into compelling stories.

  • Skills & Tools:
    Excellent written and verbal communication; familiarity with PR platforms and monitoring tools; expertise in crisis and reputation management.

  • Collaboration & Agility:
    Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
