About the role

At Thatch, we’re building a new way for modern businesses to offer great health benefits. We’re taking a unique approach in a legacy space, with backing from some of the world’s top investors (a16z, Index Ventures, Google Ventures, General Catalyst) and a team of top performers from companies like Stripe, Rippling, Ramp, Brex, and Shopify.

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join our team and help us accelerate bringing Thatch to market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B marketing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to execute campaigns across various channels.

As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll play a vital role in optimizing our acquisition funnel, running digital campaigns, and driving performance across various channels. You’ll work closely with sales, product marketing, and growth product to expand our reach, generate high-quality leads, and contribute to revenue growth.

This is a highly cross-functional, fully remote role that requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and a passion for continuous experimentation and improvement.

What you'll do
  • Own the execution of comprehensive growth marketing strategies and campaigns to drive leads, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Build and manage reporting frameworks to track performance across the funnel—monitoring key metrics like CAC payback, lead-to-close conversion, channel-level efficiency, and more.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to refine audience targeting, creative strategy, and channel mix, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and RevOps teams to improve overall performance.
  • Run structured experiments to validate hypotheses, uncover growth opportunities, and scale what works—driving a culture of continuous learning and optimization.
  • Evaluate and implement marketing tools and technologies to streamline workflows, improve attribution, and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and competitive insights to identify white space opportunities and inform campaign planning and messaging strategy.
Background we're looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B growth marketing or similar role, preferably in SaaS.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate performance updates and recommendations to cross-functional partners.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., ActiveCampaign) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Experience we’d be particularly excited about
  • Experience working at a high-growth, early-stage startup.
  • A track record of success driving clever and efficient growth marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools.
What to expect

Our interview process is rigorous and reflects our emphasis on integrity, talent, and drive. From day one, we place trust in our team members, indicative of our confidence in our selection process. Typically, our interview process is completed within 2 weeks. Here's what to expect:

  • 15 minute phone screen to talk through your background and interest in Thatch
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting with the hiring manager to dive deeper into your experience and the role
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting to meet 2-3 members of the team
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting with the hiring manager to work through a live case study
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting with our founders to discuss your approach to culture and our operating principles
