Job Summary:
The General Manager, Sales, is responsible for overseeing and driving the commercial success of the organization. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales teams, building customer relationships, and ensuring that the company meets its revenue targets. The GM Sales plays a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to the Chairman, detailing sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Foster strong working relationships with sales, marketing, and other departments to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Oversee all sales activities, ensuring the timely and efficient closure of both retail and fleet sales.
- Establish and manage sales targets for the team, holding them accountable for achieving results.
- Identifying target account, creating strategy to securing new business and executing sales and marketing plan.
Requirements
- Have over 15 years’ experience working in a multinational environment.
- Possess bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in relevant courses or MBA.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and
successfully leading teams in high- pressure environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with
the ability to build rapport, motivate, and influence others.
