Department OverviewNA Materials Operations organization is responsible for planning materials and managing inventory for all Land Mobile Radio / Video products with the objective of optimizing customer satisfaction and MSI revenue, cost and cash flow.
Job Description
The GSP Lead is responsible to ensure GSPs follow Motorola behaviors and also oversees their daily responsibilities manages the suppliers (EMS) flow of products by monitoring demand, monitor raw material supply to EMS, and optimizing inventory levels to meet their production needs, balancing costs, quality, and timely delivery through strong supplier relationships, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams like Business Operations and DCs, utilizing ERP/MRP systems for efficiency and continuous improvement. Works as the first escalation point to the different Motorola departments and EMS to speed up processes and sense of urgency.
This position is responsible for managing these activities for both Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Video solutions.

Basic Requirements
Education & Experience
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3+ years on SCM supervisor roles such as purchasing or planning lead / supervisor / coordinator. Experience with EMS partnerships and electronics/technology manufacturing is a significant advantage.
Technical & Analytical Competencies
SCM Systems Proficiency: Proficiency with major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and dedicated Supply Chain Management (SCMS) software.
Data Analysis: Demonstrated ability to monitor, interpret, and present complex supply chain data using advanced analytical tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to inform strategic decision-making and report generation for executive leadership.
Process Methodologies: Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, preferably utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other accredited performance enhancement frameworks.
Soft Skills: Leadership, Negotiation, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, relationship building.
