Job Description

The Supply Chain Supervisor (SCS) is a leadership role responsible for the end-to-end oversight and execution of the supply chain, ensuring continuity and security of supply for Motorola products. This involves managing relationships with Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) partners (specifically for both Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Video solutions) and extending influence to Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers via the EMS partners.

The role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing product fulfillment strategies to ensure accurate, cost-effective, and resilient product supply across a global network of suppliers and customers.

Basic Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in Supply Chain Management) is highly preferred.

  • Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in managing complex, global supply chains, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience with EMS partnerships and electronics/technology manufacturing is a significant advantage.

Technical & Analytical Competencies

  • SCM Systems Proficiency: Expert proficiency with major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and dedicated Supply Chain Management (SCMS) software.

  • Data Analysis: Demonstrated ability to monitor, interpret, and present complex supply chain data using advanced analytical tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to inform strategic decision-making and report generation for executive leadership.

  • Process Methodologies: Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, preferably utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other accredited performance enhancement frameworks

  • Soft Skills: Strong Leadership, Negotiation, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, relationship building.
