Xylem is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee a division supporting the North America region. This senior leadership role carries full Profit & Loss responsibility of around 300-500M in revenue and is focused on driving commercial success, operational excellence, and strategic growth.
Strategic Leadership
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities across North America.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term growth strategies.
- Collaborate with global operating divisions to align business plans.
- Lead sales planning, budgeting, and target-setting processes.
- Recommend strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities.
Client & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Champion outcome-based selling strategies.
- Represent the division externally with clarity and vision.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.
Operational Oversight
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Lead demand planning and risk mitigation efforts.
- Own and manage the division’s financial performance.
- Support digital transformation and future-of-work initiatives.
Team Development
- Build high-performing teams across sales, operations, and support functions.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Develop future leaders and promote talent mobility.
- Champion performance metrics and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 7–10 years of senior leadership experience with P&L ownership.
- Proven success in sales, strategy, and operational management.
- Experience with capital projects and long-term service contracts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead across regions and manage remote teams.
- High ethical standards and a results-driven mindset.

- Travel requirement: Approximately 50%.
