College Board – College Readiness Assessments (CRA)

100% Remote

About the Team

The College Readiness Assessments ("CRA") division is a team of mission-driven people who deliver the SAT Suite of Assessments (SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT10, and PSAT 8/9) to millions of students across the world each year to help open their paths to life after high school. The SAT Suite connects students to a wide range of post-high school opportunities, including scholarships, careers, colleges, and universities. In 2023, we retired the use of paper/pencil testing and are now a fully digital SAT Suite offering an assessment that is easier to give, easier to take, more secure, and more relevant. All PSATs and nearly two-thirds of all SATs are taken by students in their school on a school day, and our multi-year partnerships with states are a significant way we ensure widespread access to the PSATs and SAT and the opportunities they provide to students.

The K–12 SAT Suite and State Partnerships team leads College Board’s efforts to deliver the SAT Suite of Assessments to state and district partners across the country. Our team is focused on expanding equitable access to college readiness tools by ensuring that our assessments are seamlessly integrated into state accountability and instructional systems. We work collaboratively with state education agencies, school districts, and internal cross-functional partners to design and execute end-to-end implementation strategies that maximize impact for students and educators.

This team manages strategic relationships, drives adoption of digital testing, oversees implementation and test administration, and ensures our solutions align with the unique policy and programmatic goals of each partner. Through ongoing innovation, feedback loops, and hands-on partnership management, the team plays a critical role in advancing College Board’s mission to connect students to opportunities and drive systemic impact in K–12 education.

About the Opportunity

As the General Manager, K-12 SAT Suite and State Partnerships, you are motivated by the opportunity to connect with, influence, and inspire students and their educators through expanded access to the SAT Suite of Assessments—including PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT, and SAT School Day. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee College Board’s K–12 SAT Suite line of business, with a particular focus on the successful adoption and sustained engagement of our state assessment partners. You will lead a dynamic, cross-functional team of directors and partner success professionals focused on delivering high-quality, end-to-end support—from onboarding through ongoing service—to ensure state stakeholders are empowered through expert guidance, program policy expertise, and proactive outreach. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how states across the country experience the SAT Suite and to ensure our solutions support educators, drive systemic value, and advance College Board’s mission to connect students to college and career opportunities.

You will serve as the go-to leader for state stakeholders, managing strategic relationships, escalations, implementation, training, and delivery to meet state-specific requirements. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to optimize the cost structure and investment strategy for a program that delivers nearly six million K–12 assessments annually; evaluate, define, and represent the needs of state, district, and school accounts to internal product and technology teams; and ensure alignment between our offerings and the goals of our education partners. You will also collaborate with College Board’s strategy and innovation leaders to shape future investments in initiatives that enhance the value and relevance of the SAT Suite, such as career exploration, direct admissions, BigFuture, and BigFuture School. You are a strategic, mission-driven leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and lasting partnerships in complex, stakeholder-rich environments.
