Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consumer Technology Director to lead our GenAI Solutions engineering organization. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing a team of GenAI Solution engineers, driving the development and implementation of innovative generative AI solutions specifically for consumer technology, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance our digital presence and customer engagement.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of GenAI Solution engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of generative AI solutions for consumer technology, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to drive the successful delivery of consumer technology AI projects.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the GenAI Solutions engineering organization, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and scalability in consumer technology.

  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of consumer technology AI solutions, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of consumer technology AI solutions, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize outcomes.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the GenAI Solutions engineering organization.

  • Design, develop, and test Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

  • Implement and optimize retrieval methods for efficient and accurate access to relevant information from diverse data sources.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience

  • Experience in developing and implementing generative AI solutions, preferably in a consumer technology environment.

  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Large Language Models

  • Experience consulting on generative AI options to build a comprehensive roadmap

  • Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models for business applications,

  • Experience with natural language processing techniques

  • Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
