Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Generative AI Engineer to join our AI/ML team. In this role, candidate will design and implement cutting-edge Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, fine-tune large language models (LLMs), and build scalable ML services that solve real-world business problems.

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement RAG pipelines combining vector search, embedding models, and LLMs.

  • Integrate and fine-tune LLMs for domain-specific applications.

  • Develop and maintain Python-based ML services and APIs for production use.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into GenAI-powered solutions.

  • Evaluate, monitor, and optimize model performance and retrieval quality.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Python.

  • Hands-on experience with LLMsRAG architecture, and ML frameworks such as:

    • Hugging Face Transformers

    • LangChain

    • FAISS

    • Scikit-learn

  • Solid understanding of:

    • Embedding techniques

    • Prompt engineering

    • Model deployment and serving

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AzureAWS, or GCP.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Exposure to MLOps tools and practices.

  • Background in NLP or Information Retrieval.
