The global team manages the life-cycle of securities lending activity—collateral, reconciliations, recalls/returns, buy-ins, corporate actions, and oversight—while modernizing processes and technology to scale safely.

The Senior Specialist is responsible for defining, designing, and driving the next generation of workflows, technology capabilities, and automation that enable scale and reduce operational risk. We’re looking for a candidate with deep securities lending experience and demonstrated strength in process engineering, workflow design, and operational architecture, coupled with industry engagement to drive effective change and build future-state operational processes. Success in this role means creating and delivering on an actionable operational improvements’ roadmap, influencing stakeholders, delivering prioritized outcomes, improving process health against quality and risk targets, and improving scalability.

 Responsibilities:

  • Leads strategic planning efforts. Ensures operational aspects of the funds are met for the department. Establishes short and long term goals and leads strategic planning efforts.
  • Develops and implements strategic operational plans in support of departmental objectives. Oversees transactions processing requests, and leverages knowledge of global industry trends to recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • Oversees, manages, and owns the resolution of key initiatives. Contributes to the development of the departmental business planning and budget.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders across the department and division to determine growth objectives and opportunities. Establishes metrics to determine effectiveness and progress.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight years’ related work experience, with at least three years of Investment Operations experience. 
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred. Graduate degree preferred.
  • CFA or other financial designations preferred.
