JOB DESCRIPTION:

The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing reliable financial reporting information to Take 5 Leadership and Finance Leadership team that is used to make decisions impacting the performance of the corporation. This role will be primarily focused on supporting the Take 5 Oil Change business through business case development work, and through deep dive store, marketing and customer analytics.

This manager position reports to the Director, FP&A Take 5 Oil Change and offers a high level of visibility with the Take 5 Executive Leadership Team.  There is also a high level of cross-functional interaction with the Operations, Field, and Business Development teams.

How you will Own it:

  • Lead and prepare the development of the Take 5 Oil Change business case work, including the construction of dynamic financial models, supporting strategic projects
  • Own Take 5 Oil Change topline annual budget, LRP, and monthly forecast process
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variance
  • Analyze ROI and profitability for business initiatives and identify improvement plans to close any potential gaps
  • Partner with IT to advance business intelligence capabilities
  • Assist with store level planning and forecasting
  • Support Senior Management and Operations heads with in-depth analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile performance results (e.g. accounting, procurement etc.)
  • Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
  • Provide hand-on training and cultivate direct report, establishing a structured teamwork framework

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience with a background that includes accounting and financial analysis.
  • Experience building financial models to value investments
  • Experience calculating KPI’s such as NPV, IRR and Payback Period
  • Ability to lead with little direction
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities against multiple deadlines
  • Able to work well with people across multiple functions
  • Ability to communicate/present to senior level managers

Added Fuel if you have:

  • FMVA certification
  • Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory or top-tier management consulting preferred
  • Prior people, and project, leadership experience
