This position will be based in our Charlotte, NC office

Reporting

This position will report to the VP, FP&A

Summary of Role 

The FP&A Manager is a critical role within the Finance team at Palmetto, supporting the growing Direct-to-Consumer business segment. This individual will own all forecasting & analysis of the P&L and cash flows for the Direct-to-Consumer business segment. They will serve as a business partner with leadership of the Consumer segment and be a key partner for supporting the growth of our Direct-to-Consumer offerings, thinking through pricing, cost of customer acquisition & more. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in a critical future growth area at one of the fastest growing companies in the country!

Strategic & Tactical

  • Manage full scope FP&A process for our Direct-to-Consumer business:
    • Annual planning process & monthly re-forecast
    • Monthly review of Actuals vs Plan
    • Cashflow forecasting & analysis
  • Act as a strategic partner to leaders across the Consumer segment, delivering insights that inform decision making, pricing & cost of customer acquisition
  • Build financial models to support forecasting & scenario analysis
  • Partner with the business to evaluate consumer pricing, customer acquisition costs, unit economics, margin improvement opportunities, and growth initiatives
  • Identify and implement process improvements that streamline reporting, increase accuracy, and reduce cycle timelines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 2-5 years FP&A experience, with demonstrated ownership of forecasts, models, and performance reporting
  • Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with deep understanding of the macroeconomic landscape 
  • Proactively identifies improvement opportunities across systems and processes, and implements solutions and updates them
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment where priorities may change quickly
  • Collaborates seamlessly with internal teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills; can present to varying audiences and leaders
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
