About the Role

Abnormal AI is hiring a Financial Analyst, Marketing to join our FP&A team. This role will act as a key financial partner to the Marketing team, driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to optimize marketing investments and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong finance background in FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting, with expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning, and business partnership.

What You Will Do
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for marketing headcount and operational expenses
  • Analyze complex datasets to develop scalable reporting solutions for Marketing month-end close, Budget-vs-Actuals variance analysis, and insight-driven forecasting.
  • Develop scenario-based financial models to assess marketing investments, ROI, and performance trends.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Strategy & Analytics teams to align financial plans with GTM initiatives and revenue growth strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to FP&A & GTM senior leadership
  • Leverage AI, automation, and analytics tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and financial reporting.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and support strategic resource allocation.
 Must Haves
  • 2-4 years FP&A experience, ideally including GTM Finance
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning skills.
  • Experience partnering with marketing or GTM teams to support business growth.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives through clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, and financial analytics tools to drive efficiency.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Base salary range:
$84,200$121,000 USD
