About your roleWe’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day financial functions, manage vendor relationships, and lead the rollout of new internal tools and systems. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
What you will doFinance & Accounting:- Work with executive and finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly close
- Payroll and sales commissions
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for leadership and investors
- Work with external accountants/auditors to ensure compliance
- Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient capital allocation
Tooling & Systems Implementation:
- Lead evaluation and rollout of new internal tools (e.g., for finance, project management, HR, procurement)
- Work cross-functionally to understand team needs and customize tools accordingly
- Maintain internal documentation and processes related to tool usage
- Train staff on new systems and ensure successful adoption
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and service providers
- Manage software subscriptions and third-party contracts
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and renewals are handled efficiently
- Track vendor spend and optimize vendor portfolio for cost and performance
- Experience with venture-backed startups and investor reporting
- Basic understanding of legal terms in vendor contracts
What you should bring
- 4-6 years of experience in finance and operations
- Startup experience required
- Solid understanding of financial statements, SaaS business models, and budgeting
- Experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts
- Proven track record of implementing tools/systems
- Highly organized, analytical, and proactive communicator
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed, and evolving environment
The cash compensation for this person is in the $155K - $175K range. In addition to base comp for this role, we offer equity in the form of options, a variety of benefits, and the opportunity to grow in an exciting and collaborative environment.
